It was the ambition of our founder, Eva Crane, to advance the understanding of all species of bees and beekeeping by sharing scientific research and proven knowledge worldwide.
As a Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO), the Trust fulfils Dr. Crane’s ambition by providing crucial financial support to academic researchers and citizen scientists with unique and worthwhile projects. We sponsor international conferences where vital information is shared and discussed, and we provide support for the publication of specialist books that deepen our understanding of these vital pollinators.
