Hollowed trunk of Palm Tree

Locally known as a 'Tubl' (literally Arabic for drum). It was made by a local carpenter & is used only in Rostaq & the mountainous region of the Jebel Akhdhar S.W. of Rostaq. End pieces normally made from the stub ends of date palm fronds.
