Notes

  • 2 recesses, built into the walls of a cellar of a house in Shoreham, Kent.  The age of the house has never been confirmed, parts of it may date back to c1500 or it could be early 18th century.  The recesses both measure 17.5" wide, 11.5" high, 9.5" deep.  There are no other similar recesses inside or out (notes from owner, 2021).
