Original bee boles in wall of formal garden attached to orchard of apple, plum fig and pear trees as well as raspberries. Trees are very old but still productive. 8 recesses built at some point between 1855 and 1653 (when house was built and then extended). They are in a south facing wall and measure 50x66x64. They also have protruding shelving roof to prevent rain entering the area, and the boles are quite dry even in particularly inclement weather (notes from owner, 2021).
