The bee house is against South -facing external wall of walled garden; door on N side, no windows; height of end walls up to apex: 9'4"; 2 rows of 4 + 4 flight holes in S wall, and 2 + 2 in each of E and W walls; each slot is 2" x ¼", with circular platform in front, 9" wide, 5" radius; walls painted white (but flaking) and flight holes and platforms painted in bright colours.
