local Vernacular Buildings Study Group gave full description of house (1710) and out buildings attached at each end; on return wall of one (used as cart-shed) are 2 pairs of 2 recesses, 75 in. apart; probably bee boles; 2012 report: one pair (nearer road) now near ground as level has been raised; bases project 5-6 in. and tops 8 in.
