  • Stone "lean-to", built against high stone wall on S side; inside N wall: 3 rows of 7, 7, 7 recesses, with projecting stone ledge (5 in.) below each row; also 6 recesses inside E wall (see photo) and 1 inside W wall; on outside of W wall (above door) are 12 pigeon-nest entrances [building described by NMR merely as "dovecote", but 28 larger recesses were probably for skeps]; apertures in W (5.5x3.25ft), N, E walls - perhaps for doors?
