Originally part of steading built 1812 by owner of Woodburn House (late 1700s); there was orchard adjacent; steading converted to dwelling; this outbuilding had recesses on 3 walls (30, 12?,30), with shelf below top row; c.2002, many recesses were in bad condition, so only 33 kept and renovated; now painted white; bottom row protrudes; before conversion, door and small window (original?) in W wall; back of one recess converted to window
