  • probably built later than house (c.1600) to which it is attached; 2 compartments (each c.37 in. wide) at ground level, with full-width compartment above; slab shelf is set back 6 in. at front and has 6 in. gap at back; roof (88 in. high at back) slopes forward; left wall is part of garden wall; structure has been carefully restored with original(?) right wall and shelf retained; probably held 6-9 skeps
