in 1983 there were 3 bee boles (single and pair) 78 in. apart; by 2009 they had been repaired/rebuilt and 2 more added to make row of 5; original dimensions given above, but widths are now: 36, 21, 49, 24, 52 in. so boles could have held perhaps 11 skeps in total; direction 217 deg.; holes and marks in mullions indicate that bars and/or boards were fitted; bases are probably replacements of originals; this field (called Owlet Cote) belongs to property with bee boles near house (0871)
